Allison's Rentals had contracted someone to design their logo which they liked but the person provided only a low res raster graphic of the logo. Allison needed a large high res file or line art of the logo for her signs. When she contacted the designer they said they had already deleted the art from their files! (What - like a month later???) Allison reached out to me and I was able to recreate the logo in vector format so she can use it for other print, signage, promo items etc and it will scale and not degrade.
Design & Technical Considerations: Allison was provided only a low res version of her logo. It worked ok for her business cards in small size but when she went to have her signs printed the printer alerted her to the problem. A PNG for social as well as the line EPS file were provided so Allison can manage her printing locally.
TIP: If you are having a logo done be sure to specify you want line art finished files no matter who you deal with.
