You are missing out!

I was browsing *Mastodon this morning and saw this;

"A restaurant's web page exclusively on Facebook?

I will not open an account with Meta to see it.

Your loss."

This isn't just true of restaurants; it applies to any business.

It was a pretty big discussion with people from all over discussing why FB doesn't work for them. There was a large portion of I will never have a Meta account for moral reasons, another big group because they just don't have a FB account and don't want one, but the over whelming feel was "Why don't you have a website, even if minimal, and get registered with Google so you can be found and your info seen by everyone!" The issue was searching for a restaurant and the only option for info was their FB page and ZERO info was available if you didn't have a FB account.

Yes, there are many levels of websites and a vast span of prices but overwhelmingly just reaching and gaining the potential clients you would have locked out by only being on FB would cover the costs over the year.

The other view is if you have a higher end restaurant/business and your website looks unprofessional you are missing out too. A pleasant to view, easy to navigate, well built and fast website will entice potential clients to find and see your business and want to engage with you.
