Joyce Seppala Designs creates interesting and Eco friendly garments and accessories. Joyce reached out to me on my Facebook page as her website was on Joomla 3 and needed to be migrated. While she knew about Joomla 4 from the reminder in her admin area she didn't realize that Joomla 5 was the current version. Joyce's shop runs on Hika Shop and with a few CSS tweaks the transition to J5 worked well. Her old site template was abandoned by the developer.
Design & Technical Considerations: The logo on the old site was low res and worse for wear. When I contacted Joyce about a high res version I found out it wasn't even using her fonts. OK so based on the old design I spun up a new one to spec and colour. The old site template did not make the transition to J5 so I utilized a Joomla51 template for the job and styled it to suit.
Website Management: joyceseppaladesigns.com is hosted and managed by Joyce herself.
